Corporate Communications Associate - Apparel

The company is working to expand its domestic and international business through consumer retail brands to establish a new industry based on the concept of everyday apparel.

The Corporate Communications team is responsible for all aspects of communication, including external PR and internal communications to enhance employee engagement and uphold the company's values and vision. The team consists of just over 10 people and works closely with stakeholders to strengthen the brand image.

The role involves tasks such as developing PR strategies, preparing press releases, managing media queries, and building strong relationships with the media.

Qualified candidates should have experience in communications, a bachelor's degree, and be open-minded, proactive, and team-oriented. Native English or Japanese language speakers with high writing skills are preferred, and willingness to travel internationally is required.

Director of Corporate Communications

The Corporate Communications Director will be responsible for enhancing corporate reputation through data-driven storytelling and strategic communication plans. This role will work closely with the global communications team and report to the Senior Director of Strategic Communications in Japan. Key responsibilities include executing global communication charters, enhancing corporate reputation, and managing media inquiries.

The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of experience in corporate communications or public relations, with a track record of enhancing corporate reputation. Skills required include strategic thinking, data analysis, creativity, relationship building, and excellent communication abilities in both English and Japanese.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, the ability to inspire teams, and a growth mindset focused on continuous learning and innovation. The annual incentive reference value for this position is at target, indicating competitive compensation within the market range.

Head, Direct-to-Customer

The Head of D2C role is responsible for managing D2C platforms and NMP strategy and capability development for the company's product category, in the consumable FMCG area.

The role involves utilizing third-party databases for targeted marketing activities and working with online retailers like Amazon and Rakuten. Key responsibilities include developing D2C and NMP strategy, identifying growth enablers, collaborating with internal teams, and managing external vendors.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Marketing or related field, at least 8 years of experience in a similar role, and strong commercial and analytical skills. Leadership experience, the ability to work independently and adapt to change, and fluency in English and Japanese are also required.

Experience in FMCG marketing with convenience accounts is a bonus.

Japan Office Manager

We are a growing media streaming service, based in the USA, seeking an Office Manager. The Japan office manager will work with executives across the company to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Tokyo office as needed, as well as liaising with Seoul office. You will take on a range of responsibilities including office management, finance, human resources and local government policies.

At least 5 years of combined professional experience: 1) 2+ years of experience managing and supervising staff in a multinational corporate office 2) 3+ years of experience in office management/general administrative functions.

We offer a flex-time schedule including remote work 2 days per week. This position has one subordinate and reports to the CEO.

Job Description
Provide full spectrum of HR functions including but not limited to tax filing, payroll administration, compensation and reimbursement, recruitment, and selection etc.

Responsible for general office administration duties and office support including meeting arrangement, office equipment & facilities maintenance, office renovation, security& industrial safety management, regular housekeeping, replenishment of office supplies and office equipment purchase, etc. Organize staff training, events and team building activities.

Job Requirements
With 3+ years relevant experience. Native Japanese with good command of written/spoken business English. Well-organized, detail-minded, and self-motivated. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
